Hitachi and Technicolor’s 3D Mobile Phone

I never know that Hitachi is producing smartphone, but yes they are in collaburation with Technicolor to produce a 3D mobile phone. The handset has been seen at the Technicolor’s premises in London, dubbed as the Wooo H001 mobile handset from Hitachi. The best thing about this Wooo H001 mobile phone is its ability to produce content in 3D.

Hitachi is presenting a 3D parallax view within a clamshell design, it comes with an 854×480 resolution and a 3.1-inch stereoscopic screen which can be flipped both vertically and horizontally. The 3D screen can be viewed without the 3D glasses from 90-degrees for the best result. Unfortunately, The handset only available in Asia and the Wooo H001 will not be available in west, but the manufacturers are planning to make similar phones for the west so it’s worth to wait.
